Light City Baltimore is the first large-scale, international light festival in the United States, homegrown right here in Baltimore. Light City will provide a backdrop for the celebration of ideas, ingenuity and creativity through art, music and innovation.

Light City shines a light on Baltimore’s abundance of creative, cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary talent, and welcomes the world to see our city in a new light.

Taking place between March 28 and April 3, 2016

Our favorite installation is at the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse on Pier 5.

Built-in microphones capture sound which transforms the visuals projected on the skirt around the base of the iconic Baltimore landmark.
